Exactly :) I was a bit surprised myself, and also found it very funny - you change "stable" to "unstable" to get something like Ubuntu (except it doesn't install a ton of crap without asking and it's WAAAAAAAAAAAY easier to configure).

Sure. Windows acts like a virus, because it finds a way to end up on your computer, whether you want it or not. That's what the OP was saying :)
May I suggest Debian Sid? Way cleaner than Ubuntu, and more stable because of that. Also, things like startup times, time it takes to load a program, general responsiveness... way better without all the startup junk :)
He's saying that Windows is a virus, not that it's susceptible to viruses (which it is, but that's another story). You know, whatever you do, somehow Windows ends up on your computer? Because of program X, or whatever?
It's called advertisement in this case, not piracy. But otherwise, yeah, there have been some pretty "interesting" articles here :)
Obviously, their populations don't want peace. Maybe they need more time to really tire from all this fighting... But, please tell me there's at least something to be had in Palestine? Like oil, gold, I don't know... Not that it's an excuse, but at least a reason...
The "groups" you mention just lacked the technology for it. Appropriate technology is a prerequisite for advances in society.
Well, I didn't know that. Although I agree with the second part :)
Thanks for the explanation :) So, it's not like they don't want to share toys, but they don't like eachother... Can't they.. you know... just not speak to one another for a while? Or maybe someone should give both of 'em a spankin'?
Why are they shooting rockets at Israel? Do THEY want territory? I'm really not up to date, and I have always found reasons for wars a bit childish... It's like watching 3rd graders argue, but with innocent people dying...
Can't Israel continue to exist, just without that territory? I mean, the people there obviously don't want to be part of Israel, why force them?
Yeah, they messed up (apparently; can't test myself). But the rule set is complex enough to be an excuse. Many people have offered better calendars, with clear rules (without leap years and such), so there's hope that this entire class of bugs will disappear some day :)
It gives you power over their puny lives - you are the one to decide who lives or dies! As anyone with a God complex will tell you, that's at least as fun as playing the game itself.
"It's not like it's full of surprises" is a joke, as anyone that has implemented a WORKING time difference function will tell you. It's basically ONLY surprises, with few blocks of straight-forward code here and there. It doesn't have to do with 32 bit limitations, as someone suggested, it's actually much more…
Use URL shortener, say the ID out loud. Would be great if we had URL shorteners that generated something like phrases as identifiers... Just some three-four random words and numbers, maybe...
You don't; you could create a new account, log-in to that and receive the password reset token of the target account.
Everything can be cracked, but WEP is **BROKEN** (AFAIK WPA2 is not).
I gifted my entire town with printed copies of the subtitles of The Matrix when I was younger :P It's not the same as watching it, but it's close :)
... and you'd have to use your own Amazon/eBay/PayPal accounts! Oh, the humanity!
