Look at it the other way around - it's $300 more expensive than a Nexus 7...

You know how the prohibition is a good thing? It destroys confidence in the governments en masse. I mean, if they are stupid about this (try it: smoke a joint and see if you die a horrible horrible death or just laugh for an hour), they surely are stupid about everything else, right?
I bet the gangs' profits have been increasing proportionally to the spending of the government... Rare commodities tend to be expensive.
I admit that the graphics are great, but the story sucks.
The first things you mention aren't glitches. Even games have bad guys.
Ok, I'm posting this from Firefox now and it's still slower (not in benchmarks, but it *FEELS* slower). Maybe this has to do with the threaded layout engine and parser in Chrome, because there you can actually scroll while the page is being constructed. This is especially visible with webpages that add elements…
If you can plug an USB cable in it, even Bluetooth and WiFi are pretty useless. I have an eBook reader with all the bells and whistles and have never used them except to see if they work.
Except for a single test message back in the days, never. I just upload the pictures to FB and whoever wants to see them can just click them :)
They might have improved FF in the meantime... I haven't been following the recent versions. On a personal note, you should go fuck yourself with a cactus.
Well, doh, all you do is sit on Facebook and read Gizmodo all day. Of course they're functionally equivalent :D
No, the researchers sue the supercomputers. As they are computers, they have no money, so they pay in processing power. Didn't you learn anything in school?
Find a job that doesn't require you to write by hand and you will be A-OK :)
We don't need test results, fact of the matter is on my PC, Firefox starts about ten times slower and renders many of my usual pages much slower. I don't care what the benchmarks say, and we're not talking about a millisecond difference here and there - it's VERY noticeable on my particular hardware+software…
Nope, they are talking about manufacturing the case/boards/etc. Moore's law doesn't have anything to do with it (there the tolerances are by orders of magnitude smaller than 0.02mm), their problem is more in the materials science field :)
It is toxic, but even existing semiconductor technology uses it.
No, but I came here to see what "porno music" is. I thought you can only download albums like "Backdoor Sluts IX - OST"...
Yeah, me too. Apparently, the dust hides all the gore.
But doesn't have any buzzwords like "NFC" or "RFID". Good engineering, bad marketing :)
Because they don't want to be allowed to sell in the EU :) One of the greatest decisions ever - either you have micro USB, or you can go f**k yourself :D
We'd also steal from banks, you know, but there's no app for that.
