I think there was electricity involved in the Mythbusters' experiment.

They quite understand the concept and hence the effort in keeping the populace uninformed, like our Fox News does to us!

I've seen cops standing on median at busy intersections checking for people with phones to their ears and waving them over to give them a ticket. But I think it was a temporary "we mean business" kind of tactic.

In my country, we avoid charges related to processing manual checks by paying on-line. This sounds like a company trying sting you with new charges to get direct access to your bank account.

My guess is they want you to give them direct access to your account so they can take any amount they feel they are owed (auto-pay). You can trust them, right?

Did you think maybe the whole point is for you to give them a direct pipeline into your account so the burden of disputing any wrong billing falls on your shoulder? In what universe does it cost the company more money to accept your online payment?

IT IS FOR REAL.

The effects of short and long term radiation exposure have been well known for a very long time. All radiation workers who may be exposed during work, including radiologists, wear TLD's that keep track of their exposure and there are preset limits for amounts in a one year span and 5 year span. My experience was

I've worn the thirty pound vests before. The bottom came to a V to cover the crown jewels, but at the end it didn't seem worth it. Just keep an eye on your PAD, and it if beeps, get the hell out! Some people that didn't have kids yet insisted on wearing them though. You'll need a shower after a couple of hours.

Don't shed a tear for Zune. People look for perceived standards when looking to tech. iPod became the standard for MP3 players so everyone buys it. Microsoft is still enjoying popularity of Windows because it is the standard for PC operating system and not because of its own merits.

+1

I say feed the vegans to the sharks. Win, win.

I don't know...30 day limit...constant connection to your account... $150 for hardware...special app just to show the video...

Just make sure your face is not in the on-board database and you'll be fine....

I don't think they've got a lot of ships laying around for testing purposes. I think the leave the warhead out for safety and to save the ship for more testing. But it do agree, somewhat anti-climactic at the end!!!

Yes, if it can suck the gas out of it!

You think there is going to be any Hydrazine left after re-entry?

It's Veeger (sp?) coming home...
