This thing needs lasers...

Huh? I've been using a BlackBerry VM-605 which has an FM transmitter in my car with my Nexus One for six months. I stream music to my car radio and use the hands free for taking phone calls. Works great.

If this aluratek product is as good as their e-book reader, you should be able to hold a door open with the speakers with no issues.

@AnthonyG123: Although it doesn't look like it's all that early.

They got Al Capone on tax evasion.

Can we get these for TSA?

@mozzy: It's not the savings from bullets that really count. The real savings come from filling reports, charging people, court time and the rest. This short cut to justice administered by police is a win win situation for everyone. (except for the tasered).

@sygyzy: I am happy with my Acer Aspire easystore H340 home server.

is it me or do most of those pebbles look like they are in the 0.25" to 1" range?

Did he get to keep the stapler?

@JoeDLP: I know. They take away your clipper, but at meal time, they give you a complete set of metal cutlery. I used my knife to pry the damn remote that was stuck in its housing.

@bdkennedy1002: Give it a try. It might 'straighten' you out.

@Cerasus: I've done ABB and Fanuc before. We have a couple of Kukas being integrated for another customer but I am not working on that project. I like to though. I wonder if they let me bolt a chair to the end and go for a ride!!!

In the beginning I thought these dorks have safety glasses on? Then I watched it take off. Now I keep my mouth shut. (Pun definitely intended)

@Netscott: Expensive for home yes, for industry no. Small ABB robot is around $65000. Fanuc robots are about the same. 2D vision option for Fanuc is about $6000, 3D version $35000.

@Zinger314: Yeah, I think big blue beat the market!

@Netscott: I program similar robots and I am still impressed with how six axes move in synch just so the work piece moves in perfectly linear path.

That looks like a Motoman HP3. I would have designed an endeffector that looks more like fingers and maybe add a vision system to see when pieces are not where they should be.

@SkipErnst: This is still buying and selling tulips. The last ones holding the bag will loose big.
