Look, the original story (which was later edited) explicitly said that players didn’t need to buy a Switch, because they could just play it on a PC emulator instead. There’s no way to do that without downloading an illegal ROM of the game.

it has so harmful. After that, Nintendo didn’t have a choice but take Samus to the backyard and shot her because like three people learned they could download games for free on the Internet.
it is a great game. You can really feel the tight budget on it, but it’s the best combat the series ever had, and the script is as good as always.
for me, 2021 was the year of No More Heroes III and that’s enough. I know the game was pretty divisive (and it’s clearly incomplete), but after 10 years and the promise shown in Travis Strikes Again, I was happy with it.
interesting point. Just the other day, I saw a thread on Twitter by Mark Brown (the chap behind Game Maker’s Toolkit), showing his collection of “delay announcements” from various mayor developers.
now that you mention it, if Netflix was so adamant to use the Cowboy Bebop brand, they should’ve done a straight up follow-up to the story.
definitely not as old as the guy who brought up freakin’ MASH.
hmmm... about the “show, don’t tell” stuff, I enjoyed how CB used clichés to let viewers connect the dots themselves about the characters, so it can free enough time to just focus on visuals and music.
dunno, I’m also a Bebop newbie, but my girlfriend didn’t noticed anyting amiss, so it’s probably fine.
I mean... they added the original anime like two weeks before premiere.
damnit.
reminds me of Gorogoa, just in 3D. It's on Switch? Please say yes.
shit, that’s actually pretty sad, and a great example of why you should never go alone to these kinds of transactions, or at least do them on a place with heavy foot traffic.
yeah, I don’t remember that. And... well, kind of a horrifying solution to that problem.
yeah, a Contagion style film would have been interesting, you know? A friend of mine had the theory that they bought the adaptation rights because the studio really, really wanted the title “World War Z”.
I remember how in World War Z (good book, absurdly mediocre movie), NK simply went silent during the zombie apocalypse, and ten years after the war nobody dared to enter the country, or find out what’s going on inside.
it’s a cool christmas gift for the gamer in your life.
man, so many great, well curated and written wikis just went down the drain thanks to Fandom.
this recent-ish trend of translating old PSX stuff is really my jam. MOON, Mizzurna Falls, LSD, Magic Castle... really good stuff.
