Credit scores and these companies that keep them can kiss my ass. The more I pay off my debt the lower my score gets. I payed off my car loan boom instant drop, payed off my student loans another drop. Payed down my credit card debt another fucking drop.

Nope.

turn a $500 parsh into a $3000 one!

Canadian here. Our health care is far from the utopian vision medicare for all proponents make it out to be. We have a lot of problems. Wait times are horrible. Also it being illegal to pay out of pocket is insane. If you want to look to a successful system I propose the Australians, Germans, Japanese, or S. Koreans

For the past 7-8 years, my employers have progressively (no pun) boiled us like frogs in a pot as we transitioned to high-deductible plans. To be fair, they offer some benefits, like HSA bonuses for getting physicals or completing online courses. So net-net, I haven’t yet been paying substantially more than when I

While I agree giving the keys to personal healthcare to our bloated, inefficient, wasteful and disorganized gov’t scares me to no end, other countries have proven it can be done. Yes, they don’t have 330 million people. Yes, they might not be as ‘demanding’ or ‘self-concerned’ as US citizens. Yes, everyone’s taxes

The status quo dealership model exists so employees that work there can earn a living wage.

Simple. They don't want the increased competition. If there are service stations for teslas, then it becomes easier to own one.

I worked for years processing car loans and leases for a bank. The dealers always wanted to know how they could add fees under the radar and off the contract.  At some point this country needs to figure out how to retaliate against lobbying groups that make life difficult for actual people.  Buying a car should be

The dealership model exists because selling franchises is great for the company selling the franchises (at least initially). And the dealership laws were created primarily to prevent companies from undercutting the franchisees (which would otherwise be tempting).

More than anything they are doing, I respect Tesla most for this. The dealership model totally blows, everyone knows it. Let the past die, kill it if you have to.

“It’s unclear how it’s related to chicken”

Sure it’s a dumb ad but sorry, given the state of the world right now I can’t bring myself to muster up any outrage over something so minor and inconsequential.

A screen will never look as pretty as this.

I find it strange where I live driving and talking on a phone is illegal and you get a huge fine for distracted driving. Yet when you look at the cars these days you have a 12 inch screen in front of you and it’s fine. You have to go though ten damn menu selections just to adjust the seat.

He’s only yelling at the Cloud because that’s where he stored all his important photos, and now they’re not there anymore.

I’m not opposed to screens, however, what I am seeing more and more is information overload. If the point of driving is the keep your eyes on the road, having more distractions is counter-intuitive. One thing I am totally against is touchscreen buttons. You know the little bumps on the the keyboard letters F and J? As

So true!  There are screens everywhere already, and frankly I’m pretty tired of them.  Especially when they replace something like speedometer and tach.  Everytime I sit in a new car with just one flat screen for the gauges it just looks cheap and lazy.  Plus, screens in cars have lousy blacks, making everything look

Google completely forgot how headers work and why we use them, apparently.
