This is what I was coming to look for. When a person in a minimum wage job should be sharing an apartment living as cheaply as possible until they work their way up whatever ladder will afford them a higher income.
Skip the paper towel and just get fresher corn. Only cook it for three minutes an ear. Unless the corn is huge that is plenty of time. This is the correct way to do it!
And the best part is that neither of those is anywhere near South Fulton!
And Body Double shortly after that is pretty close to the genre too.
Groveling and on their knees?
Came here for this comment. Was not disappointed.
That was the problem, his hand were greasy from the chicken.
That’s it. You don’t go on your first date and it not work out and define that as a failure. You don’t go into a marriage and then get divorced ten years later and call that a success. You define the terms in a relationship as it progresses. Success or failure depends on where you are in that relationship and how you…
Huh? You need to do a little research. You can open a 529 for many states (not just the one you happen to live in) I don’t know about banks offering one. It’s really just about like a 401k in regard to being indexed funds.
Stupid tax laws. No. You can’t. They have to “earn” money and file taxes to be able to open one.
Haven’t thought about doing the “funneling” thing but if that’s on the up & up it’s a great plan!
ehh. a good Vanguard fund fund will get you 7% pretty easy. Which triples your money...

Same boat more or less. Thought about growing my own shrooms as you can get the spores without much trouble. But the growing of them takes a good bit of time and trouble. Having things growing in my closet isn’t idea with kids in the house. :(
What an amazing post and what an amazing father. I may be a year late at coming across this but thanks for sharing; been a while since I let my self get choked up.
That’s good. Contribute to that 401k as much as you can. You’ll be at 1.5 or 2mill in 15 or 20 years and possibly be set to retire at 55! Good stuff in my book. :)
Sorry I think you fall in most people’s “rich” category. If you have that 3mill invested for 4% you are pulling in $120k a year before taxes. Unless you are retired at 20 I think you shouldn’t have any problem living off that EASILY. I hope to retire at 55 with 1.5 mill in the bank and a good pension (and social…
I think you need to go do some basic math again there neighbor. If you had six mill available you could invest very conservatively, and still make almost a quarter mill a year in interest....
