You CANNOT Beat an episode the ends with a Darkman homage. Simply can’t be done. Also damn I almost teared up when Dean confessed to Hank.

“Oh no he didn’t!” Only the Guild of Calamitous Intent can mythologize a “yo momma” joke and “made ya look” for ritualistic purposes. I’m watching this episode again for the Level Ten ceremony, and enjoying all the jokes and Brock’s badassery, and Hank and Action Man’s coma dream.

Rule 34: If it exists, there’s porn of it.

Last season, he told somebody, I think Rocco the bodyguard, that he never keeps it loaded.

The big twist is that the title of the series, “The Venture Bros” actually refers to multiple siblings: Hank and Dean, initially; later, adding Dermott as a half-brother; then, Thaddeus/Rusty and little bro Jonas, Jr; and finally, Rusty and his (hinted at for multiple seasons) half-brother Malcolm/The Monarch.

The new

But then again, at JJ’s memorial service at the burned-up remains of the Compound, The Monarch told Brock, “Sorry for your loss”, in a way that wasn’t sarcastic.

Well, it was considerate of him to ask. And to not go naked this time, unlike at the Venture Compound back in Season 2.

He is as Shore Leave described him at the 2nd Treaty of Tolerance Summit: Slayer of Henchmen par Excellence.

Anyone care to consider that Rusty is a clone of Jonas Sr and that “blood related” means that Doc is Malcolm’s “father?”

I’m expecting Wampa/Hank seared into my retinas any click now.

This season was beautiful and reminded me of season 2 the most of any recent season. I feel like from s5 to s6 they started spiraling into all these extended universe directions that I couldn’t have been less invested in, with Sphinx, the Billy’s mom fan service, and all these other extraneous threads that pulled

Oh also, anyone else maybe wonder if Jonas and Blue Morpho brothers too? I don’t know, I’ve just had a feeling about that since that recording found in the Morpho Cave last season.

Concerned... or intrigued?

...This wasn’t a twist

I am actually... astonished.

The character in Barbarella was Dr. Durand Durand.

Brock never uses a gun as a gun.

I loved it, but I’m left to wonder now for the next two years what the fuck was with the bear suit last week. I figured there was a payoff coming in the finale on that, but... no?

With me watching last week’s and this week’s finale tonight, holy fuck what a double banger of amazingness. Where do I begin, Brock’s legendary ramble (and return of Psycho Brock), Gary and Monarch’s bromance shining through, Dean doing the ol’ “dishing out his baggage to relative in coma” trope to great effect, this

I’ve only had Malört once at this very bizarre Malaysian restaurant in New York.
