I read the headline and I was like wtf? But then I discovered Vindicated is actually a positive word. Weird.

Fine, he cast bad actors, but there's no way to be sure that they were bad in this film because his direction sucked. Most of the cast was good it was just Jake, Hayden and Natalie whose performances were bad.

The same logic then can be used the other way round, he got Oscar nominated performances out of Alec Guinness and Candy Clark, so it's Hayden and Natalie's fault that they sucked.

Even if they're good else where, it doesn't mean it's his fault they sucked in Star Wars.

You can't turn a bad actor into a good one, no matter how good your directing is, can't blame GL for that.
