Yeah, I think you are right about that. For the next few weeks, when you hear a Republican on TV, you will hear the same bullet points over and over again, verbatim. This is them circling the wagons. 

They’re on lockdown trying to get the story straight. For the past two weeks, every time someone defends him he literally reverses it within hours. They say, “well he didn’t do that” then he confesses to doing exactly that later on.
