This. A day ago I thought this was all for Iran but na, Trump’s been begging for this since the day he got in office. This is a message to the rest of us: these tanks are MINE, and I can make them do whatever I want. These are tanks that he thinks he himself owns, won in a legitimate quest for power. 

Nothing happened when elementary school children were mass-murdered at school. Americans are complacent, and tanks in the capital will not move them.

Is this really about showing the world how much of a big boy trump is? It feels more like he’s trying to show his domestic enemies (aka everybody who cares about actually preserving democracy) that he has the power to make the military do what he wants. He wants to put on his Putin pants.

I think a major contributor to the problem is the tendency for the community to write off serious toxic and aggressive or hateful behavior as being a “heel,” as if this were all a scripted wrestling match and the competitors were characters rather than real people. So I appreciate the Kotaku is questioning these situations, but it doesn’t help your case when immediately following the article there are “recommended” examples of Kotaku openly glorifying these “pop offs”. Like maybe we stop celebrating these?
