If you’ve never checked it out, Seinfeld2000 is amazing because it’s A). completely batshit insane and B). the guy who runs it has a genuine knack for spotting links between today’s pop culture and a 25-year old TV show.

I need water to live but that doesn’t mean I won’t drown in the ocean.

It. Doesn’t. Matter.

I think that the twist regarding the Mandarin was actually pretty inspired.

The Plinkett persona helped define “the current discourse”, kid, including the tone of both writers and commenters on this site

Conversely: no, it’s not, and no, it isn’t. The re:View they just put out on “Predator” is one of the best things they’ve ever done. RLM has only gotten better over the years

Dead Cells. I quit after killing the very first enemy I encountered. I knew right then the game wasn’t for me. Let me clarify: I love Metroidvanias. But something about how Dead Cells is TOO fast paced turned me off. I like things to be a slow burn. You know, start, build up your strength and go through a narrative.

Never mind this, the real TLJ news of the week is yesterday’s Plinkett Review from RedLetterMedia!

Dark Souls. I quit about 2o minutes into the game because the combat was just so slow and ponderous.

We got a regular Jessica Fletcher over here.

This is just sickening. Using the exact same tactics as her abuser, implying the kid was a money-grubber, and dragging Bourdain into it when he can’t speak for himself. If anything’s going to undermine the #MeToo movement, it’s going to be everyone circling the wagons when one of their own turns out to be part of the

I am not denying that she experienced the trauma of rape. I am questioning why she became an active member (and leader) of a movement without acknowledging the hurt she inflicted on another person. It takes a great deal of dissonance on her part to ignore the hypocrisy of her stance.

How is it a leap? She chose to jostle her way to the front of the movement knowing full well that she had this abusive history. What would make her seek prominence in a movement that did not seek out her leadership specifically?

She was incredibly stupid to think this wouldn’t come out. Even if the accusations were blackmail she should have known MeToo detractors would find it.

What a disgusting person she is. She not only sexually assaulted the boy (now man), but it appears she’d been grooming the boy for some years. Then she wove the MeToo movement around herself in what now seems like some twisted effort to gain attention? I am so disheartened.

Counterpoint: It’s a perfectly pleasant film. Yeah, the jokes are pretty dumb and obvious, but it’s got a congenial energy to it, and the cast is game and appealing. And as for it being “75% gay panic jokes,” pardon me while I execute a Liz Lemon-style epic eyeroll for the ages. I mean, I guess not wanting to get

I’m sure recognitions and the other puritanical idiots who have come to dominate this site will be by shortly to let everyone know that they support disingenious right wing led lynch mobs.

Whatever, Hughes. Joe Rogan is enjoyable in a stream of conscious kind of way, and Bill Burr is anger wrapped in bitterness dipped inside murderous rage, and packaged in a box that says “fuck you,” on the tag, which is hilarious when it’s not aimed your way.

Hey y’all, you spelled Georgia Hardstark’s last name wrong in the article!

Weird, random dig at podcasting in general at the end there.
