Will be spending more time with Prey, which I was initially ambivalent about but now can’t put down. I’m sure part of that curve was my slow progress through the storyline/upgrades because of my compulsive need to look in every corner of an Arkane game. And this game has a lot of corners.

Goodman as ‘Walter Sobchak’ in The Big Lebowski is, as far as I’m concerned, the best supporting actor performance to never have received an Oscar nomination (fuck it, he should have got the Oscar dammit).

Oh, shut the fuck up you sanctimonious asshole.

Still, fuck Bill Cosby.

John later apologized for much of what he said in anger. Before GamerGate was ever a thought on people’s minds he advocated for ethics/proper discourse in game journalism. Unfortunately, plenty of alt-right dickheads latched onto that phrase as an excuse to be dickheads and the phrase has since lost its meaning.

He had opinions. You didn’t like them. Clearly that means he deserved his fate. The amount of jealousy from nobodies on this site is tragic.

Is now REALLY the fucking time for this?

The thing that gets me the most about those people is that they are usually the same people arguing that “MY FAVORITE STREAMER SAID THE N-WORD ONCE, AND APOLOGIZED, ALL IS WELL GET OVER IT!!”

RIP Totalbiscuit.

One of the hardest things about any conversation about racism is getting people to understand that the word “racist” (or “racism”) can mean a lot of subtly different things.

Also, as he mentioned above, it’s hard to do an irony-heavy character when not everyone is in on the joke or knowledge. Twitter being what it is means that necessary context is nonexistent when all you have is 280 characters, which is why his initial responses to the Charlyne Yi controversy (another good example of

Its a good thing that that isn’t even remotely what the case is here.

“...that qualifier [I feel obligated to tell everybody, because of something that happened on the internet, that I’m not a racist.’] is the only thing that I’ve added because of that kind of thing.” -David Cross

“Gonna be honest—if you find yourself constantly having to explain to people that despite what they just heard you say,”

But that’s not what’s happening. People are continually calling him racist based on one incident, reported years after the fact, that they lack all the information on, that they don’t have film or

Great interview. Always cool to hear his thoughts.

Also it’s interesting to see both him and Sarah Silverman both expressing things about having conversations play out in public before any attempt to handle them privately. Which, depending on the context/specific issue, is a valid thing to think about.

Without it, the rest of the movie doesn’t make sense.

no typo, I meant powder problem, as in cocaine up his nose in the former and probably some type of benzo or roofie crushed into powder and put into the drinks of his victims in the later

oh my god these accounts are sickening, hope the women are ok

I remember bourdain saying something about batali having a powder problem which was the onus to his Italian rebirth... looks like he still has a powder problem but this time it’s the cosby type

I think that stuff is pretty clear - Luke carries the titular Hope of everyone, and he’s just a man and can’t keep that up 100% of the time. He too is made of the light and dark elements of the force - he feels fear and hatred, he doubts himself.
