I don’t love that the Phoenix Act is being called ERW’s “pet cause”.

Ok, I know this is all snark and maybe I’m oversensitive, but can we be a little kinder than “designated dead husband gal?” She seems like a nice lady and her husband’s covid trajectory was truly horrific and heartbreaking. I get the sense that a lot of people have been comforted and touched by her openness about her

I mean, Amanda Kloots’ husband, Nick Cordero, spent the last three months of his life in a hospital with COVID, two of those months on a ventilator. He suffered horribly. He died. He left behind a baby. He was only 41. He had a legacy as an incredible actor and singer. Kloots could not spend time with him while he was

She became pregnant because she was human and had sex.

Also very easily google-able questions! Can’t wait to see what you learn.

It’s really a none of your business issue.

There are may types of ways to protect and take care of people who have disabilities - that do not involve the extreme level of loss of personal liberty that she has experienced.

Counterpoint: Public shaming may be the tool most appropriate to change not only his behavior, but that of the next racist.

This is a shitty comment. There’s nothing wrong with aspiring to motherhood. It’s a valid thing to want to do. You’re projecting your issues on to someone else and that’s fucked up. Get therapy and work that shit out.

lolz. WOC, esp Black women, have been writing books and articles about this issue for decades and decades.

You can do both. This girl suffered from schizophrenia. That’s not something be brushed aside.

I am glad I don’t understand these comments.

I feel the same about toddlers but hey I’m out of luck.

So I know you probably mean well, but this kind of negative comment to something so powerful comes off as concern trolling of the highest order. Maybe don’t cheapen someone’s words by saying “Oh, I love it, but I hope others don’t use it to say a shitty thing I’m about to say.”

fuck “class”. she’s trying to make real change in the industry. expecting women to be “classy” while they work hard at things is just another way of policing them.

I have yet to see a tornado do damage in the billions (with a “B” Billions)..

having grown up in rural america and now living in a big city, i agree with your point. one alternative is making it yourself. Soak 16oz of raw cashew pieces in water overnight (~$10). It yields ~20oz of fake cheese when mixed with 1 squeezed lemon + olive oil (to consistency), apple cider vin, salt, pepper and

Cheezehound makes an amazing mozzarella. Nothing like Daiya, more like you would expect for a gooey cheese on a pizza. Miyoko’s has an awesome winter truffle and and a farmhouse (similar to a cheddar) that are tasty. For sandwiches, Chao is good, but I recently tried Violife and was really happy.

That Trader Joe’s vegan cheese is one of the worst ones out there. It’s GoVeggie-tier. Use literally anything else including Daiya (which is also terrible but not as bad and avoid the shreds.) Some much much much better brands: Miyoko’s, Follow Your Heart, So Delicious, Parmela, Field Roast (Chao).

I’ve yet to really love a vegan pie crust. Its not the bread... its the binder. It just seems to acclimate to nuts more than bread, in my opinion. But the real secret is using the nuts to thicken soups instead of using cream, or using them as a crust, because nuts just don’t seem to need the binder of egg the way
