There is no difference between anti-vaxxers and flat-earthers. Full stop. They both WANT to believe what they believe, and so they continue to pursue ignorance in the face of overwhelming evidence. When they’re up against the wall, they go full conspiracy theorist and question the very motives of the researchers…

There’s also some correlation between maternal age and infant allergies/eczema, and of course the “Hygiene Hypothesis,” which suggests that maintaining too-clean of an environment can have adverse affects on immune system development. Don’t wash your pacifiers, people.
