Yes it's still possible, but you need another modded xbox to do so. My go to resource is [www.xboxscene.com] which has stood the test of time. There are now some disc (slayers evox comes to mind) that supposedly can softmod it for you, but haven't tried. I do have the is, in case you need it (200 MB file I think)

I have a simpler method. That red light (focus assist I think is called) just put on your face or in the middle of the group shot and shoot. No risk of sun damaging my eyes!

If the door hinges are facing outwards, you can bump them out with a hammer and a chisel. On the same note always check that your door hinges are facing inwards on your outermost doors, it is a week point of entry. I had to remove them once in a friends house, and it was easier than he would've wanted

This is the reason why fixed lenses exist. I bought a 50mm f1.8 just for shooting around and making the most out of this fixed range.

What I've done is put some Krazy Glue on the tip and/or the screw, join them and let them dry. It may damage your screwwdriver, but it'll get that damn screw out.

@sweetmonkey: I use VSO image resizer. It's very customizable and let's you work in batches. Best of all you can just right click to it.
