She looks thinner to me this season (not that she was fat before).  Cuter, too (not saying there's a correlation, either!)

Another little bit I loved with Crowe/Bud was when he's supposed to be beating up ?Sid? (Danny Devito's character) but you can tell he isn't really into it, until Smith calls him in and you can *see* him force himself back into "beater" mode…

Kristen and Sheldon are two of my faves (and I can't stand Josh), so yay!  As for the elimination, I think this was the breakdown:

Exactly my thoughts on Josie, though I wasn't surprised Kirsten didn't pick Stefan.  I'd have picked Lizzie before him, too (despite her screw-up this week).  But I can't believe she'd have picked Josie over Micah - unless she thought he was going home because of his lame concept.  Or the magic elves interfered.

Sherman-Palladino-ness always takes me some time to get used to: I'll never forget how much I disliked the pilot of "Gilmore Girls," a show that eventually became one of my all-time favorites.

Ha, I didn't recognize the quote and remember thinking "Why is Freddie quoting Karl Marx?"

That was my reading as well.

My heart hurts at the prospect that (1) Freddie may be dead (nooo!) (2) there may never be a season 3.  Although I agree with whoever said they couldn't imagine this show without Freddie, so…

Yeah, especially since the crust is the best part of chicken pot pie!  (well, IMO, anyway)

One thing I wondered is how responsible is Lizzy for the condition of the scallops?  Should she have been able to tell when she first bought them that they were bad/old?  If not, it seems like there was really nothing she could do to salvage that dish.

I haven't had a problem with Tesar this season (in fact, kinda liked him) and didn't really want either him or Lizzie (whom I genuinely do like) to go…until he went into full-on dick mode in the burger-off.  Thought it was pretty adorable when Lizzie said she wanted to "beat his bum," and was glad she did…although I

Oh how I love the dynamic between all of our characters, and never more so than tonight.  I admit it, I was tearing up a little during Freddie's speech to Bel.  But just as good were the little moments between Bel and Hector, and between Hector and Freddie - where you could see how much their respective relationships

I swear every long shot of Bel in the office makes her look like something right out of an Edward Hopper painting.  Which just adds to the show's charms.

Agree on everything except Chris Pratt (who's cute enough but a little too doughy for my taste).  If that's really our top tier, that's fine with me, as I don't hate any of them.  Still hoping for South African Lizzy to break through a bit more, but she hasn't fared so well recently.

Liked 1000 times for "I kept imagining that Josh’s mustache would wilt with sadness like a dying and hairy flower."

So I wasn't crazy about most of this episode, but that final Peter-Olivia scene redeemed it all for me, power of luuurv and all, mainly because Anna Torv and Joshua Jackson sold it so well.  And I thought JJ did a great job modulating subtly between human-Peter voice and Observer-Peter voice - the former breaking
