I don’t get how TSwift is good and KPerry is bad. It’s the same pop. Neither is great really. Talented and skilled sure. But they aren’t great musicians putting out incredible work that could potentially change the direction of music. It’s pop music. It’s fun, funny, catchy, and awful all at the same time just like

How hilarious that Taylor Swift fans have concocted a reality where Kim Kardashian was somehow in the wrong in that particular situation.

They should give the candidates an opportunity to speak in front of the public so you can get an idea of what they’re going to do once elected.

Please point out where the commenter said there was a sexual assault.

But it would have showed that misogyny played a part.

I hate that this is what misogyny, and especially misogynoir, has done to me. I don’t know if I can ever unlearn it.

I have a TON of criticism on HRC as a candidate

“Maybe I have overlearned the lesson of staying calm, biting my tongue, digging my fingernails into a clenched fist, smiling all the while, determined to present a composed face to the world.”

it’s an entirely different thing to say something about how a celebrity’s dress may be ugly or not fit well than it is to say something about said celebrity’s body. or more analogous, to comment about the terrible quality of someone’s tattoos (see: ed sheeran) versus commenting on whether they have too many tattoos.

Actually back in the day Jezebel used to have a pretty strictly enforced no bodyshaming rule in the comment section. As time has gone on that’s been eroded down to where we are now, which is apparently “anything goes as long as we don’t like the celebrity”.

no one is accusing you of trolling. we’re just commenting on your shitty take on what you think looks good on a woman’s body or what she “should” look like. you’re a regular commenter. this is like bad takes 101.

yeah, girl

I can’t claim to know what kind of person Jujy is, but this isn’t the first time I’ve had an issue with what he posts.

Not a troll, just didn’t like your take.

All that ink seems a bit much

“Millennials are killing the Thank You note industry”

It’s obvious that the same woman who called black children superpredators, the same woman who co-signed racist policies that decimated black families and used racist tropes to attack Barack Obama in 2008, would not have ushered in some kind of racial utopia or led us to the proverbial mountaintop.

As a Mexican dealing with Trump’s immigration “reform” FUCK YOU.

But Trump? His very election has made things much, much, much worse.

Vin, your assessment is spot on correct, and you said it in so many less words than “the professor”, who sounds like a disgruntled Jill Stein supporter. She claimed Hillary called black children “super-predators”, which is a lie. Hillary called hardcore criminals that terrorized black communities super-predators,
