Scandalize it for a month? It would still be a talking point of theirs to this day.

Lol, that’s a classic right up there with “my wife doesn’t understand me.” Why do they all use the same lame, dusty playbook?

I forgive her because she lived through sixteen years of her husband being lauded as a feminist god friend and champion paragon on virtue while he was actually screwing around on her. I would be pretty pissed off too.

When my ex (who def. identified as a feminist) decided to leave me for a mutual friend, one of his guy friends met up with him at a bar for a drink. After the ex explained everything he’d done, the affairs, etc., the friend was like ‘that’s not very feminist of you, dude.’ As petty as it is, I liked hearing about it.

You know when you see a person and you just get an uncomfortable feeling about them? Like something is just off but after talking to them or (in this case) reading/watching interviews you can’t put your finger on it? That’s how I’ve always felt about Whedon. Glad to know I wasn’t wrong.

No but dating your employees when you have so much more power and wealth sure as shut means you are not. You can’t say you think women are your equals then turn around and abuse your power to bed them.

I was bored and on Instagram live the other day and started watching the feed of this radio show I’ve been listening to for years. A few mins later the guy from the show I crush on DMs me. One need only read the atrocious and extremely un-feminist screenplay he wrote for an unproduced version of a Wonder Woman movie to see how he feels about women.

I’ve been chuckling over this all afternoon. I’m so spitefully happy to have been proven right.

If Kal Penn is looking for ways to fill his newly-free time, he can always come over to my house and... talk about supporting the arts while I get him nice glass of wine and turn down the lights and put on soft music and light some candles and *cough*

Good points. Also, she’s held to a different standard because she’s a woman.

Isn’t this pretty much satire? I mean REAL satire, not the outrage as satire that certain...ahem... bloggers engage in on the regular. I mean “treat it like the opening weekend of a  movie with two thoughtful female leads” pretty much sealed it.

I already commented but I like this interpretation. If we spent as much time organizing politically as we do dissecting the intentions of liberal comedians, we might actually have a chance at changing things.

Yeah... I’m going to do you a favor and let you know that, just like people shouldn’t point out there were a few ok people in the white nationalist march, you should just keep the fact that a couple points in his tip resonated with you to yourself. Especially when the list includes “2. Your boundaries are complete
