As a feminist, I believe that my head was created equal to a man and that any higher power would not require a woman to cover her head, particularly when said deity thinks that an uncovered male head is just fine, created just fine as it is, and shows proper faith and deference uncovered everyday in public.

Oh, I just love how this shitty article mentions Sarsour’s stated desire to “take away their vaginas”, which was made even worse by he fact that it was directed at a victim of female genital mutilation, but then proceeds to gloss over that statement.

“the brand of Zionism she fights against is not the brand of Zionism I recognize”
“one cannot be a Zionist and a feminist at the same time. I am indeed both, thankyouverymuch”

So is the “brand of Zionism” that has resulted in the current apartheid state that is Israel your brand of Zionism, or not? I’m totally open to

Palestine being free means an apartheid state being dismantled. South Africa didn’t cease to exist once apartheid was dismantled there, but it sure wasn’t free before then.

She is critical of policies that oppress Palestinians yet says nothing of the oppression of women who live under Sharia Law. Linda Sarsour is a walking, talking joke, and I don’t need to read 5,000 words to figure out otherwise.

If young metro don’t like you imma shoot you.

get a haircut and the fuck out of Ethiopia, Diplo

I didn’t think I could love her more, but here we are.

did... he seriously think that Rihanna would be caught dead on that anti-banger of a track?

I have been blessed with ignorance re. terrible BBC radio presenters, but Wikipedia is telling me that’s the dude who married barely-legal Billie Piper despite being almost twice her age. Ick.

I think the suggestion that women are more emotional and can’t handle high stress jobs is sort of rich coming from a person that wrote a 10-PAGE MANIFESTO about HR.

All I saw was a 20 something with a man twices her age, which I could’t look past throughout the trailer. Hollywood agism/sexism is still alive and well

This is child abuse

Yeah, I really don’t get the increasing focus on gender. I was born in the early 80s and a lot of my toys and clothes were gender neutral. They weren’t “boy’s clothes” or “girl’s toys” they were children’s clothes and children’s toys. When my sister was born 4 years later things were very different. Even Lego was now

Doesn’t this part of the article bother you at all? I know it’s just one person’s viewpoint, but it’s valid:

I definitely wasn’t implying that we need to stop allowing children to socially transition. There are a lot of nuances to gender identity in children, and I was simply providing another viewpoint. The article has some very interesting quotes from medical professionals and those in the transgendered community. Here’s

First of all, I’m not a transphobe. My comment obviously doesn’t play by the latest rules of progressive internet discourse, and I knew it would cause a shitstorm of irrational responses.

Did you read the article? I’m not saying these kids will detransition, the article just has some interesting research points about gender dysphoria in children.

Dan Savage didn’t write it. And the author who did received death threats. Here’s the response to the backlash of the article:

My concern is actually your 3rd sentence:
