Hi honey.
Agreed, it would be great if he could get his genes tested so we can see what that would look like. In his own words he has ‘girl mode’ and ‘boy mode’ so it would be interesting to see how his genetics differed depending on his mode.
He made the joke that black men in Brooklyn were putting on heels so as not to get shot by the police.
He’s calling himself a transgender lesbian now. According to him he has ‘boy genetics’ and ‘girl genetics’
He wasn’t talking about black transwomen. He was talking about white ones. How many of them have been shot by the police this year?
Specifically white men.
Excellent comment. Very smart.
This is a true story. Have you read the book? It is very moving.
I said the same but my comment was deleted :(
1) Hollywood is famous for having equal opportunities for women. Especially in prestige movies. I’m sure being married to a woman who made dumb action movies didn’t give him more freedom to make interesting ones. Also the Oceans movies were FASCINATING. Alongside Mr. and Mrs. Smith which his dumb wife stared in.
Oh my days, this is dumb.
1) Who doesn’t do this?
Jezebel: We need to see more movies about women of colour! We need to see more movies directed by women! We need to see more movies written by women! Why are all movies told from the point of view of white Americans!
Great point.
Very smart. Always good to just watch one film on a a topic. Bonus points if it is told from the perspective of two male journalists. Added plus: one is a white American.
Very true. Art is meaningless.
That’s cool. We disagree. I have also read Fine’s book, but I can’t buy into the fact that it is gender than makes men and women different. I wholeheartedly believe that gender is a social construct, but it just does not account for male violence, a constant, across all places where ‘gender’ is enforced.

So where does it come from? (And I’m not trying to trick you I am really asking). If it is not inherent, yet persistent EVERYWHERE, where does it come from?
