There are so many people here in he U.K. who are also shocked and saddened by Trump’s election. I too have been following this election through Jezebel and have learned so much and felt incredibly invested in it. I watched the results come in live overnight, and have spent the days since feeling like I’m in mourning.

He looks like the blonde one from the GCWOK couple in HIMYM.

I bloody love Dunelm Mill, there’s one just by my work so i’ve spent many a lunch hour there buying new cushions I don’t really need! I’ve never seen anyone steal anything though, that pleasure was reserved for the Tesco down the road, where I saw someone just last week, walking out with a display of movie posters.

There is no way that woman is really 52, as google has just informed me. She is awesome.

But isn’t the point of temporary characters like that to illustrate something about a main character? Sarah Bunting (the socialist teacher) was there to show things about Branson & Daisy, she wasn’t in the show for her own sake. Gillingham and Blake were there for Mary’s character development.

I’ve spent a lot of time in the last 24 hours watching Acorn Antiques :-) she really was the best.

Victoria Wood died yesterday, which is a huge loss for women in comedy :-(

I went to a language school in Paris for a month and while I was there I read Antonia Fraser’s bio of Marie Antionette (excellent) and visited the places that she was writing about. It was an amazing experience and really brought it all to life as real people etc.

I visit Italy 2/3 times a year (parents live there) and I travel a lot for work - Paris, Düsseldorf, Madrid, Vienna and Bratislava so far this year - and can honestly say that’s not been my experience. I’m in Italy right now and the most forward any man has been is yesterday on the beach calling me ‘bella’. I’ve never

I only wish I could have been this amazing and articulate at 9 - freaking 9!! At 9 I was mainly worried about when and if my friends and I could get together to swap Polly Pockets!

They’re the literal worst. It makes me respect people a little less when they read/buy the Daily Mail.
