This is a very interesting game.
I'm happy more games are going in the direction of giving us experiences and new points of view rather than just doing the same ol shooter / adventure game. I think this is where the future of gaming is headed.

The fact that the boy seems to live in space is interesting.

To begin with, I'm not sure why everyone wants or needs the game to be comedic/funny. I rather the humor comes naturally than forced into the story/game just because it's expected.
