Wow you can’t make a complaint about a game and still like it? inFAMOUS is my favorite game on the PS3 and I’d recommend it to anyone.... But it’s melee gameplay is pure garbage, it’s like they didn’t even intend to make it usable.

The same exact reason I don't question the fact that my main character is the prince of a magical kingdom and has the ability to make swords appear out of thin air and fights goblins on a regular basis... It's a game :/
It’s never to early to draw conclusions. If I turn out to be wrong I’m wrong. My speculation won’t change the end result. If anything, enough wrong speculation by enough people will get them to respond with some clarification.
running being a pain in the ass doesn’t make up for the restrictive driving, in fact that’s just another problem the game has when it comes to traversal. Getting from place to place shouldn’t be this tedious/boring thing.
they could have easily just made it so the car does no dmg. And driving is only faster if walking means you have to run around some un-climbable mountains which don’t need to be there other than to force the player to drive so that they 1) have time to give you exposition on the way to point B and 2) don’t have to…
It’s not crazy sounding but you can let people enjoy the scenery and be free to drive anywhere at the same time. The guard rails aren’t there for realism, the guard rails are there to restrict where the player is allowed to drive.
you say that... but episode duscae didn’t require you to drive anywhere and all the sprinting happened off road where most likely you wouldn’t have been able to drive anyway considering the guard rails which probably shouldn’t be there. In fact the only reason I could think they’d even put them there is to keep people…
“Looking at the footage” tells me theres a road that takes you from point A to point B. It doesn’t tell me that the road is the quickest was to get there. Maybe the most boring though.
You don’t know this yet but your comment is agreeing with every point I’m trying to make right now :/. I know you can get out at anytime THATS EXACTLY MY POINT! What I’m saying is why would you drive anywhere when it limits you so much?
The problem with driving in this game is that it unfortunately makes the game very linear. Odd comparison but in GTA you can drive anywhere and on any thing. This game seems to keep you rather confined to the roads. Driving seems to honestly be the slowest way to get around. They could have probably run there faster…
