Honestly, I usually appreciate your reviews- but this one...... instead of reviewing it on its own in a vacuum, by your own admission you frequently switched back to its predecessor . And I agree that the snes Yoshi's Island stands as one of the greatest platformers of all time.
But saying the new game isn't worth

They do indeed. I worked at Gamestop for four years ('08-'12) and I can say my regulars were my favorite part of the job.
It always sucks to hear about shitty Gamestops, but they aren't all bad.

Isn't Planetfall 2 or w/e it's called coming at some point?
And hopefully The Order will actually hit this year.

I love both, my top three stand as Symphony of the Night, Lords of Shadow 1, and Bloodlines.
I just finished Lords of Shadow 2 and really feel the reviews were overly savage, solid 7.5 for me. The ending felt a little abrupt and despite the much more open nature of the world, I didn't feel compelled to backtrack for

Dying......
So great.

Injustice Gods Among Us Ultimate Edition (PS4) ($24) | PS Plus | Otherwise, $35

Rayman Legends ($29) | PS Plus | Otherwise, $42

That's just like.... your opinion, man.

Depends on the store.

Was it opened? She's gonna have a hell of a time trying to return it if it was. Especially if she isn't a member.

Theres an element where I have to agree with your assessment, but I still can't help but try and nudge folks to try XII. It was the last non MMO FF to present you with a world to really dig around in and explore.

There are surely better reasons to take Square to task than silly names, plus Bravely Default delivers the goods. If we want more ambitious games from Square, or at least at least better crafted ones, we need to buy the good ones and ignore the shite. This, and I pray the upcoming Drakengard 3, are a good direction

Why shouldn't a company look for any revenue stream possible. I see so many "true gamers" sit on their high horses and bitch about the casualization of gaming, and turn around and pirate new releases or wait for a steam sale (in no way am I attempting to imply personal judgment on you, only speaking in general terms).

The ESA (Entertainment Software Association, they own the ESRB, and most major games retailers are ESA members along with most major publishers and developers)regularly sends secret shoppers into their member stores. Gamestop also self polices ratings compliance with internal secret shops. I worked for Gamestop at

It's a trap. I don't care what he says, It's a trap, it was always a trap, it will always be a trap.

This.
And I dunno about the rest of you, but that 15 minutes of video thing is going to be awesome for sharing those " did that just happen?" moments.

and the appeal is so universal, even non starcraft fans laugh at these in my experience.

Sorry Mr. dragonfliet, I promise to never ever ever poke fun or joke around on your internet again. I mean it. Really really. Cross my heart even.

I don't know if you missed the phrasing, but that was tongue firmly in cheek.
Joking =/= trolling.
I typed it more because I knew somewhere this was/ is going to be said seriously.

someone had to say it-
"Well, now we know where all that kickstarter money went."
