Hitchhiker's Guide all over again.
Britney Spears is on the list but not Yes or Anthrax? Granted I expect nothing less from the A.V. Club's music section, but come on, you guys should be ashamed of yourselves.
Wow, didn't even realize it was on Netflix now!
I really want to see AV Club do Father Ted, but not enough people are familiar with it (this is not just me being all hipster with little-known British TV series either, this show was very popular over there in the 90's and is one of my favorite sitcoms of all time).
My pick would be 2 Fast 2 Furious. A mediocre movie at best overall, but it features a fantastic scene where they extract information from a guy by putting a rodent on his stomach under a bucket, lighting a fire over the bucket, and explaining to the guy that the longer he holds out, the hotter the animal will get,…
I know you already did Season 5 of The Wire while it was on, but it would be a crime for you not to go back and recap the rest of the series. It was MADE for weekly TV Club recaps. And anything to spread the good word of The Wire is fine by me.
As a result of the incident, Nancy Grace has been forced to scrap her planned upcoming tango to "Caught In A Mosh."
You realize Skyrim's out in 2 and a half months, right? You're just getting into Oblivion now?
As a longtime Sabbath fan who has heard this sort of talk for YEARS…
…I'll believe it when I see it.
Still waiting for the first promotional photo of The Riddler.
Yes
Weirdly, I was listening to Yes' Fly From Here as I read this article, and I can't agree with Will more. There's nothing quite like hearing a classic band find some real genius and inspiration after 42 years of existence. So I definitely second that suggestion; you won't regret it.
Meh
Bring back Celebrity Deathmatch and then I'll pay attention.
So now that everyone loves Christoph Waltz, is Tarantino just going to shoehorn a German character into every movie he makes from now on?
No you… WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOON'T!
Shakespeare in Love 2
Lady Macbeth: Why did you bring these daggers from the place?
Star Wars was a succsessful and acclaimed trilogy as well. Remember when George Lucas decided to make prequels to those movies? Remember how he shoehorned fan-favorite characters like R2D2, C3P0, and Chewbacca into them even though their involvement made little sense? I'm just saying…
"… but he's just as good!"
The lines about Houdini's brother in this episode were some great, subtle character-building, both for Nucky and for Atlantic City itself. Sure, Atlantic City can't get Houdini— he's probably playing New York or Chicago. AC got his brother, who Nucky defiantly swears is "Just as good!" This…
"Produced by Edward Cullen"!
Anyone else notice that in the video? I knew the powerful teenage vampire lobby was behind this cartoon.
