You know the first time he used that line he ad-libbed it and now he CANNOT get enough of it. Like he got back to the WH and called Biden and was like “JOE! Did you see? Did you see when I said ‘don’t boo, vote’? They LOVED IT, Joe.”

Tim Kaine has said the words “hi hungry, nice to meet you, I’m Dad!” more than once.
Yeah, I think they have a kind of an unconventional relationship, but at the end of the day, they seem to actually like and respect the hell out of each other as intellectual equals, which, fair enough. Good for them if they’re happy, and they seem to be.
The sheer joy on Bill’s face when Obama was talking about her was priceless. Say what you will about their marriage, but I really do think they love each other. It’s not Michelle/Barack love. It’s more like... the love your grandparents have after 50 years of marriage and all they do is yell at each other all day…
My favorite part: Obama mentions Trump, crowd immediately boos.
One of them also said something like “We’ve just heard from an actual billionaire...” I was loving it.
Lawrence O’Donnell’s contribution to the discussion after Bloomberg spoke was, “Estimates have Bloomberg’s fortune at 100x Trumps, conservative estimates have it at 10x. This was a calculated blow and it will hurt Trump’s ego.” To which Williams replied, “The Manhattan dinner scene is approximately this *holds up two…
Tim Kaine is definitely the type of dude who gets the check at dinner, opens it, and goes “let’s take a look at the damage...” as his kids roll their eyes and he’s grinning ear-to-ear.
Seriously, Hillary has had the big guns! The speeches have been great!
Unlike Donald, Bloomberg is a successful businessman. That’s why it was extremely satisfying to see him take on the cornerstone of Trump’s campaign.
Bloomberg’s speech gave me LIFE because you know Trump was SO PISSED that Bloomberg said he was richer than Donald and threatened his New York cred.
You know Tim Kaine has used that line on his kids more than once.
I still don’t think GWB was really evil. Just incredibly, unbearably clueless and a perfect puppet for Darth Cheney.
Oh man, when Hillary came out and hugged Obama I was already tearing up and then they cut to Bill tearing up?! Squeeeeeee!!!
NO ONE TELL THEM IT WASN’T A REAL BABY
Oh Susan. It’s not that I’m mad at you, I’m just...disappointed.
The protesters interrupting speakers really pissed me off. Especially during the non-politicians’ speeches as it seemed to phase some of them more than others so I was really happy to not see as much of that last night.
Nice. In all seriousness, the sets were the only remotely comparable element, as the RNC stage was filled wit two-bit nobodies and very little actual content.
The contrast between the DNC and RNC is striking. There were lots of heavy hitters speaking last night that it was almost exhausting to watch. Unsurprisingly, Obama and Biden delivered. Kaine was a little hokey for me, but I did think his speech was somewhat effective.
