You may not like dealers but I'd rather have a Porsche that needs repair rather than a Tesla without parts available
You may not like dealers but I'd rather have a Porsche that needs repair rather than a Tesla without parts available
Because Tesla is cash poor, loss making (ignore a couple of financially engineered quarters of minuscule profits) and has a reputation for dodgy quality. The model s and x in particular are ancient platforms that are effectively the same car since 2008. Porsche has a global brand following that dwarfs Tesla,…
Yup. Teslas are hip [and good for them] but Porsche gives you clout.
Seriously, Tesla’s valuation might be sky high, but the amount of money the large established car manufacturers and their decades of know how would give them a pretty damn big advantage when they actually put their weight seriously behind a electric car.
Yeah, I can foresee a lot of used Model S’s to be on the market in the very near future because of this car.
Unpopular opinion, I like it. I like the looks, aggressive but muted. If they make a V8 (ISF motor or succesor) 6 speed in the next couple years I’ll buy one. I'm not highly interested in the BMW 3.0 with flappy paddles... Toyota needs to put their own motor and transmission in it to finish the project.
This is like saying putting the bac limit at 0.08 is annoying because if you are at or slightly above 0.07, you might probably pop the red light, have your car towed and spend a few hours at the police station for further testing.
Here come all the people that weren’t going to buy one anayway proclaiming that they aren’t going to buy one.
Read the paperwork, bro. The policy was there before you got there and it will be there after you leave.

Been all over the north as well just not as a resident, still have not met anyone who would shoot someone over something like what is described in the article. Your referenced article is covered by my statement “two parties stupid enough to push it to the point of gunfire” which is far rarer than what the majority of…
Many times, as well as living in LA, TN, SC, and NC, and never met anyone who would shoot someone in the situation described above.
Lived in the South with good ol’ boys my whole life and never met anyone that would shoot someone over this scenario.
There is a no-touch wash near me, it has the jets that blast up and under the side panels and wheel well as you drive in if you get the ‘Ultimate Wash’
That would be nice, but you can't be too precious about the paint on something you're DDing in the winter. The elements are going to win eventually.
Te problem here in the upper Midwest is that the days following a snow, the roads remain sloppy. You can’t get from the car wash back home without it looking just as bad as before the wash. Then a lot of the time it snows again and the cycle repeats. You can go weeks when the roads are so sloppy there is no way to…
From Colorado’s website:
Ground walnut shells, sand, with only 10% of the salt and mandate winter tires.
The article is about the multitude of options. The comments are about the appearance of the car...
