On the other hand, canceling or curtailing the F35 program, while would cost a great deal of money, would send a clear message to the defense industry not to engage in these sort of shenanigans again. Given the losses they will have to adsorb, they might even listen.
Just like I tell my customers, FCA makes compelling vehicles, very nice products at reasonable prices. You just can’t own them.
