If you don’t need to see Ms. Marvel / Wandavision / Secret Invasion then call it Captain Marvel 2, not The Marvels. The title (and the marketing) implies the homework, not the critics.

This is the epitome of a film that doesn’t need a sequel. Not that that’s ever stopped anyone before, but it’s still kind of disappointing to see this happening.

I think that the main reason it exists is that it just for whatever reason became personnally important to Paul to finish the effort.
