This sounds crazy, but once upon a time, Comic-Con was not a movie/television trailer delivery mechanism, but a place to meet comic creators, buy comics and nerd schwag and similar stuff.

None of that is impacted by either a writers or actors strike.

Is it?

This looks . . . kinda not great, but I love everyone involved, especially Bill fucking Camp.

Similar to how Clue’s alternate endings accentuated the 1949 card game

Clue, now that’s a good movie.

It breaks my heart still that this show was cancelled.  It was SO funny.  They didn’t give it enough marketing.

Or alternatively, taking an opportunity on a non-scripted show to publicise the strike. I’d say that was being a good ally to the union, and standing by the work he and others did on a scripted show pre-strike. You can say that’s having it both ways, but you can also say that’s being a thoughtful grown up.

Your move, McDermott.

Drus is a helluva drug.

love that cameron is legitimately an expert on this and also made a movie where arnold schwarzenegger says ‘chill out, dickwad’

I know. And, I get it. But as someone who has volunteered with alpine and backcountry Search and Rescue for years, we don’t go looking for people based on moral considerations. At the end of the day, these are lost people and we go looking for them. Period.

There was no problem, it was obvious what he was talking about and any Beatles fan who care about this knows about the third demo. Clickbait merchants from shithole sites sure liked to spin it, though.

Hmmm.

In a perfect world, this would be a nationwide PBS style channel run by the National Archives.

It'll go well with the horse's ass that's already there.

isn’t the usual slop of original programming, reality/competition shows, and reruns”

I thought for sure that was Kacey Musgraves in the header until I read the article.

I would prefer a biopic of Technotronic and the creation of the #1 techno hit “Pump Up the Jam.”

Despite what certain people would have you think, people won’t think you’re a weird misogynist incel for shrugging off a movie like, eh, it was pretty mediocre and not for me. This goes for The Last Jedi and the Ghostbusters reboot, too.

I don’t know if I entirely buy the Hill death, yet. Fury made the same play in Winter Soldier with Hill assisting him. I would wager after their talk at the bar, Fury laid out a plan that’ll pay off in the finale. Maybe positioning Hill to run SHIELD, now that Fury is on the SABER.

In related news, I may or may not have had tacos for lunch.
