Chinese Fire Drill!

@chargercrazy: @chargercrazy: Opening day for I305 only because I had to know if it was better than Millennium Force. It could have been if it were not for the shoulder harnesses. I then rode after the trims were put on. ::sigh:: stupid. Have you seen the re-profile? Google it and you'll see it, should make it

@chargercrazy: You're correct. Superman the Escape (which is not operating right now and undergoing a major overhaul) opened first. I was there on its opening day.

@Spasticteapot: I guess wikipedia would be have a better explanation than I could give. I'm not really good with the electronic aspect of roller coasters. I can however tear down and re-build any mechanically operated rides. I'm not a fan of magnet brakes or electro-magnetic propulsion. I prefer air operated brakes.

@Lincolnsbeard33: You can blame Cedar Fair. It used to be themed really well.

@eric273: Pretty high. I quit keeping track a few years ago. I've been to every Six Flags and Cedar Fair park in North America. Dollywood, Holiday World, Conneout Lake, Mall of America, Vegas, All Disney roller coasters, Waldemeer & All Bucshe Gardens. China, Alton Towers in England, Schlitterbahn and Dream World

@Vicarious-Chair: Should have corrected that. LIMs = Wicked Twister LSM = Those terrible Vekoma launched rides.

@Excalibur: Same here. The Nimitz class would have to have the entire deck refurbed to operate this new machine.

I have a major problem with this.

@Rohic: Magnets are not affected by such things.

@len0808: A car on Top Thrill Dragster and Kingda Ka weigh 5.3 tons each and at 5 cars per train is 80,000 lbs. Its close and impressive for hitting half that speed in 4 seconds.

@FlyingAvocado: Kingda Ka & Top Thrill Dragster use a Hydraulic launch which fill cylinders with hydraulic oil, creates pressure which spins a drum and pull a cable connected to a launch sled. Not magnets.

@trois: You mean Bush, right? Bush, started the bailout.

Shits about to get real.

@That Guy: Probably for a very long time. Six Flags Magic Mountain is taking the coaster count in 2011 and Old Man Kinzel probably won;t be putting anything big in before he retires in 2012. I would expect another coaster in 2012 and it will probably be epic, but I doubt it will be taller than Top Thrill or faster

Why is Milli or Vanilli there?
