There is something about this beast that makes it seem giant to its Corvette brethren. Wider, longer and bulky. Ben was coming around a corner in Ferndale this weekend and it went across the nose of the new Regal I was in. It made the Regal seem even smaller once it was within a few feet.

Sigh...

@ppiddy: I wish i could promote this comment or bold it and make it bigger.

@Turbolence88: I usually return the vehicle with any transmission fluid I used up. Its just common courtesy.

@dambo29: Did you watch the video? He talked about washing a Bugatti Veyron and a McClaren F1. Both sell for above $950,000 U.S.

Tasker

@daemian: Don't bother with the trial. You'll just end up paying for it anyway. Seriously... My phone is now this close *does that finger thumb thing to illustrate the point* to being sentient.

@fryhole: I don't think I dismissed the Leaf at all. In fact I clearly stated my point that the Leaf is for minimalists looking for a bargain. If you look back at my original comment it is clear that I meant that Chevrolet is standing behind their vehicle longer. Not that it was better. It really can't get any

@fryhole: My point is and this is backed up by Nissan themselves, that the Nissan is aimed at those who want to spend much less on a vehicle. They want a bargain, the cheapest way possible to get todays technology.

@fryhole: Value and Bargain are two different things. Bargain is defined as advantageous to the buyer. Using it to exclaim the deal you just got on a pair of pants, is detrimental to the seller. As in, the seller slashed prices to move the pants. An item with "value" is seen as worth the entire price of the item.

@fryhole: You'd be committing buyer suicide if you didn't look at all options. I grew up in a mostly GM family, but when the discount ran dry, we shopped all brands. Hyundai had some impressive vehicles and the build quality was stunning. We didn't buy a Hyundai mainly because of price point. It did however end up

@Hello Mister Walrus: No. I'm pretty sure I'm not. I was in the business for a very large auto publisher gathering facts and data on this exact same thing.

@theweakend: Its real classification is an Extended Range Electric Vehicle. A plug in hybrid uses electricity to have a pre-charged battery. This instead of driving around, using the brakes and alternator to recharge the system

@barrywoods: Thats not exactly true. There is still quite a few billion that has not been paid.

@seanpat12: By the time this goes on sale, you won't be. The IPO is scheduled for August.

@Kaiser-Machead v.2.1.1: Under *current* epa testing, the range of the Volt is 230mpg. The EPA wants to rework the math, still leaving the Volt as tested in the range of 150-200mpg. Thats 3x the amount of the Prius. Lets wait until real world testing happens before we assume such things.

@mr_mr: The ZR1 is still a "Chevy" but commands and sells out at over $121,000.00

@acidrain69: From what I understand, the gas motor will run itself from time to time in very small amounts (think seconds at a time) to keep this from happening.
