Skyfire should get a mention too. I use it as my secondary, after Atomic, because it can play flash video, which is handy if needed on an iPhone. It's worth an install, anyway

I use µTorrent on my Windows laptop, but Transmission-daemon coupled with Transmission Remote on my Stora to download constantly.

I'm with Virgin Media in the UK. I have an ADSL line, and I pay for 8mbps, but can occasionally get up to 16mbps! I get unlimited bandwidth, and pay ~£20 (~$33). Virgin have never mentioned my constant BitTorrent downloads, but do throttle the torrents (and only them) sometimes. Never had a problem with them at all!

@cadenlaguna: The safest place IMHO is the Pirate Bay , go for torrents that are a few days old, and check the comments. Fake or infected torrents get removed pretty fast

@TheCrudMan: Yes, but accidents happen. Hence why we have hospitals, safety ratings, etc. Why we have airbags. If you have a car, do you own airbags? Do you own any kind of insurance? Because these safeguard against accidents.

Why bother doing this, apart from changing your YouTube name? Just make a new Gmail for professional things, then forward all mail to the old account, meaning a new address with so little effort.
