Meh, there was really no difference between Trump and Hillary and my Jill Stein vote sent a message to the establishment that will reverberate throughout the millennia far more than some meaningless Supreme Court decisions.

His appointment by Trump notwithstanding, Barr’s a very competent attorney, who likely would be worried about firing Rosenstein dragging him personally into the crossfire down the road.
I think that William Barr got fully read in to the Mueller & SDNY probes and said, “ah hell no, I’m not touching that with a ten foot pole, you’re stuck with this.”
This is the Republican ethos in action: free markets (except when I’m disadvantaged), free speech (except when I’m the target of ridicule or harassment), voting rights (only for those that would vote for me or like me), etc.
They've discovered that they can't compete in the marketplace of ideas, so they want the market shut
“Letting California and New York decide which Democrat is going to be president every four years is hardly better.”
In my drunken state, I almost (almost) brought out a couple of right wing splinter troll weenies crying about this shit, but decided against it, so I’ll just post to my own shitfaced thread:
I agree! Negative traffic can bring in just as much, if not more, engagement than positive attention. You only need look under the dribbling comments under a Trump tweet to verify that. His contention that he/fellow conservatives are being shadow banned is clearly bs on multiple levels, but they’re also people who…
TOS’s, free speech, parody, satire, Streisand effect, Dunning-Kruger, etc.
Which is where my mini-strokes come from: you think that these platforms owe you? You think Jack Dorsey is going to descend from his flea cloud to grant you immunity and riches? You think Youtube isn’t hemorrhaging money and therefore their concerns over advertisers and copyright owners preferences should be subsumed…
It’d be an interesting precedent as “maliciously (and usually dishonestly) attacking every aspect of (Enemy du jour)‘s character, honesty, integrity, ethics and fitness to perform his(her) duties as a (politician, journalist, comedian, singer, actor, former employee, former political appointee)“ is how our president…
I mean hey, Twitter gave us some good shit for a while.
If I was Jack Dorsey I’d issue a statement that, for legal reasons, Twitter is going to have suspend the accounts of all GOP politicians including, unfortunately, President Trump until this lawsuit has been resolved.
It’s probably because I’m not making money/gaining influence off of Twitter or Youtube but it always makes me recoil a bit when people want to whine about either platform being unfair. There should absolutely be a bare minimum of moderation and investigation into threats or harassment.
May I suggest the Twitter handle Devin Nunes’ Chode, that way he has to let his junk be described for the public record to see if is accurate or satire.
I just got sued by Milton Berle.
Technically he isn’t wrong.
“Access to Twitter is essential for meaningful participation in modern-day American Democracy”
From snowflake to snowstorm in 3 ... 2 ... 1 ...
He’s going to be crushed during discovery when he finds out that the Devin Nunes’ Mom account is real.
