So glad you brought that up. While I would be seeing CRA on opening weekend no matter what (same with Black Panther), I especially want it to exceed box office projections and trample on Marky Barks. Got my tickets. Even if you don’t want to see a rom-com, I recommend everyone take time to go see this movie over the weekend. This way it will crush the movie with Mark Wahlberg, a man who likes to beat up Asian-Americans for fun.

My God, man. Discovery season 1 was like a Shakespeare sonnet compared to TNG at the same point. Aside from TOS, it was possibly the best starting point for a Trek series to date.

But... but... how are they possibly supposed to identify with this sci-fi futuristic world of aliens and spaceships if the main character doesn’t look like them?
