I tried....I really tried hard to like this series, but I found it really really BORING.  I think I stopped somewhere around the 6th episode.  I had assumed the series had been cancelled since it has been more than a couple of years since the 1st season aired.

I like the idea of them taking Discovery 900 years into the future and escaping the constraints of trying to shoehorn all of their stories into existing Star Trek continuity. ST Voyager should have been that show but never lived up to it’s premise.

UBI would be given to every adult 18 and over. So a 2-adult household would pull in 2k.  And if you had a son or daughter 18 or older then add another 1k.

Yang has also repeatedly stated that UBI is not intended to be a full on replacement for a salary.   Getting 1000 bucks/mo is not going to allow anyone to sit on their butts and eat bon-bons all day long.   It’s meant to be a minimum safety net so that you don’t wind up starving on the streets.

There really is no good reason to have 5-6 trailers before a movie when most people can see the trailers online at home.  Too many trailers turns a 2.5 hr movie experience into a 3 hr+ ordeal.   I guess I’m just old.  I don’t wanna spend over 3 hours in a damn movie theater.
