I was raised in an atheist household (I'm 25 now), and I'm always surprised at how uncommon it is. I know lots of atheists, but all of them came to their atheism as teenagers or adults. I don't know anyone else with atheist parents.

Well, as someone in some other comment mentioned, it was a punch not a stab. And for what I saw, it was probably meant for male characters (hit him in the nuts!) and adapted for the female ones.

Generally speaking, stabbing, punching, and shooting other people is not nice, but that's what Mortal Kombat is about.

I watched it the other day when Deadspin first posted it and laughed. The violence was gruesome because it's Mortal Kombat. But those three together are comedic gold.

Yep. Mortal Kombat is known for the over-the-top violent finishing moves. Not sure why it is so much worse when it's two women fighting instead of two men.

In Conan's defense, this game hasn't even been released yet, has it? I genuinely don't think any of them knew that that was coming. I mean, I grew up playing Mortal Kombat, and I wouldn't have expected them to go that far. Of course, they could have made the choice not to air that part of the segment, so....

In my opinion, this is more or less an accurate representation of gender neutrality in video games. That move can be used on any character in the game. The fact that it was a a vagina getting punched and not balls is merely circumstantial.
