It looks like a Zelda game. Zelda has NEVER been realistic as hell. If you want something that looks like that there are plenty of other games on the market for you.

I don't see anything horribly last gen about the graphics. Do you dislike the stylized, cartoonish look of the game? That's an aesthetic choice, not a limitation.

It's all about art style as opposed to graphical fidelity. I prefer a game that uses its art style to look fantastic (like this) rather than one that tries for all realism and power. Sure, that's pretty, but it will end up outdated faster. This game looks downright beautiful.
