Not tooting my own horn but that seems .. not entirely impressive. I was getting 38 on the highway with 2 people, a dog and a full trunk (with a lawnmower inside) in my V6 Accord.

Basically all BMW turbo engines’ numbers are BS. I’ve seen “crank” HP quotes be exceeded at the wheels (S55). All germans manufacturers do it (likely for CO2 and mpg certification) but BMW are definitely the most egregious. I’m not complaining at all.

In fairness, the numbers that BMW gave on the N54/N55 were extra complete doubleplus horseshit (in a good way)

Dyno tests of the car have put it at 245 hp to the wheels which equates to less than 290 hp at the crank and I’m surprised it even made that.
