Celery is delicious. It has a unique, subtle flavor, it is great both raw and cooked, and even it’s seeds and leaves have uses. Shame on you for dissing celery.

Jason and the “mythical” penguin was mine...although Jason usually does make me laugh the most.

Dear Netflix, now that you’ve finally placed the diseased kidney stone that is this show, can you please develop something for Robin Wright to star in and maybe even direct? After what she did for the crew and cast of this show, I feel like she deserves something worth her talent.

Now all I want is a bearded lumberjack Claire Underwood.

I like Vox’s theory that the original ending to the series was Frank attempting to kill Claire, and Doug killing him to protect his legacy. Then they cannibalized that plotline and stuck it between seasons. It would also be in line with the plot of the British House of Cards, which had Francis’s wife plan his…

I have never taken it seriously, but I did enjoy the first few seasons. The key was to watch it as Frank’s descent into madness. Just looking off to the side and talking to nobody while everyone around him shared concerned looks, wondering how long this could last.

It was so ridiculous I convinced myself I misunderstood. The murder rate in the show is absurd, and more than ever this season where it seems each one is openly discussed.

Also, did anyone else find it slightly unintentionally humorous that the Shepherds, or anybody, would just gather their confidants and underlings around a table to calmly discuss assassinating the President of the United States, as if it were just Item 3a at today’s board meeting? They must be awfully confident that…

I assumed that Claire was actually talking to “us” (i.e. the audience) when she said “Come and get me, Doug,” letting us know that she was calling his bluff.

How the fuck is that baby Francis Underwood’s? Wouldn’t it more likely be Tom’s? How did no one even consider that?

Yates must be one of the most inexplicable characters ever. He had no real point, yet he somehow stuck around for a whopping 3 seasons. He always seemed half asleep and in a show that became briefly beloved for Spacey gleefully chewing the scenery, Yates was boring enough to drain the oxygen from every episode.
