LIFEHACKER FAIL.

Shredded newspaper (and newspaper in general) has very little structure to it. Take a pile of crumpled or shreded paper and press it down. It compresses pretty flat, doesn't it? Foam and bubble packaging are much better. The best thing for fragile stuff is to save the original box it came in.
1. The point of gallery view is to get more clicks and to serve more ads.
"regularly" does not mean "wantonly".
If you can't afford to pay off your credit card every month, you probably can't afford it. Irregular expenses that are somewhat expected (new tires, new refrigerator) should be saved for. It's better to save for unexpected medical bills too, better than getting hammered by the high interest rate of your credit card.
I REALLY want to like gnucash. I put a lot of consideration in my data being LIBERATED and not locked into proprietary formats. Open source software is a big part of that.
Don't put your hands in your pockets.
This is true, although I'd say it's a feature. When someone shares an item with me, I like to see who else it was shared with because it might help me find people with similar interests.
Question: When I +1 a post in someone else's stream, why does it not show up in the +1 page of my profile? Only the web pages that I +1 are listed there. Where can I get a list of the Google+ posts that I +1'd?
No, it's not contradictory. People can see a list of all the people in your circles. But they can't see what those circles are. So your annoying cousins can see that they are in your circles, but they can't see that you've put them in a circle called "Shut up."
You're right - It's really simple!
I live in Los Angeles, and my tap water tastes just fine; it's even better after going through a filter like Brita. DWP water comes from a number of sources that are mixed together, so water might taste differently in different parts of the city.
One of the first rules of thumb that I apply when setting up furniture in a home office is to NOT put the computer monitor in front of a window. Unless you're planning to have the blinds and curtains drawn during the day, the daylight will drown out the light on your monitor, causing strain on your eyes.
I like the Koosh Ball one, but it's too warm for me. Cooler colers like greens, blues, even purple would be easier on my eyes.
This doesn't work if you already use your earned money to pay rent and buy food. (Ok, if you're free-loading food and rent from Mom and Dad, then it works.)
I'm nitpicking here: This code (on this page) is NOT coming directly from Google. It's coming from Lifehacker. It's possible that Lifehacker can be hacked and caused to distribute malicious code, so a wary user SHOULD inspect the code, or compare it to code published on a Google-secured site. If you really want to get…
"Excuse me, may I get to the Apple store because I need to buy the iPhone 5."
I've heard some of these horror stories and experienced none of them firsthand. Granted, I don't often use PayPal and don't keep a significant balance there.
