@shazaam42: But by setting your goal price to x dollars below what other people pay, your goal is still "anchored" to what people were paying for that car, which was anchored to the list price. Your purchase price still is not related to the actual cost of making and delivering the car (e.g. price of iron, number and

@dinniedraco: LOL at "prenting to be a writer"! So what are you, really? A MacBook-and-Moleskine-toting pretender??

Sheesh, people. It's not a blow to Apple / AT&T at all.

@NCase: Awesome! Now I want an iPhone 4 just so I can snarkily put this sticker on it.

It has been YEARS since my physical address has matched the address on my state-issued driver's license ID. My State does not issue a new card if I move within the state. So why would JetBlue require the booking (or billing) address to match with some ID? Am I supposed to bring a copy of my utility bill?!

Meh. I've done this before, and it works. It's just that this "solution" is really shallow. The real CLI users don't really need the "n" or "nls" functions or aliases.

@ddthesm: Oh yeah, I forgot the other part; when you try to download a movie that you DO have the token for:

@CasualGeek: link didn't work for me: "This item may have been removed by its author."

@Katrina Miller Fallick: Yep. I REALLY wish email clients (Hello, Gmail!) would allow me to add a Notes field to received email. Sometimes tags are not enough.

@jupigare: I'm willing to bet that a good number of those "Other" represent people like me who have a "stupidphone", that is, one that is actually used for things like... oh, I don't know... talking to people. As such, we make do either with the awful LG notepad or with the better solution of sending SMS's to Gmail.

@Tony Bullard Jr: No, even if the Industry backs this, they'll twist it around so that they will still make money.

@SDreamer: I agree about the posture.

@brodiemac: Comcast and other cable companies really messed things up when they introduced features like "Turbo Boost" or "Power Boost". Basically, when you begin a large data transfer, the ISP assigns you a huge throughput for the first 50 MB or so. After that, your throughput goes down to the 10 Mbps or whatever it

@f-meinthea: So the Win7 Task Manager actually measures your maximum LAN throughput and latency by sending huge amounts of data in order to... to where?

@Prairie Moon: No, no. The solution is for his Non-Geek family. Who apparently don't know what The Internet is.

@dmorrison42: You got emacs on your mobile device?

VOTE: SMS to my Gmail account.

@scokar: In the great driving-off-a-budgetary-cliff state of California, I can't think of a state park that does not require a per-vehicle entrance fee. 365 days a year.
