The boiling point is different in the UK. You can still open radiator caps when they are temps are boiling in the US. Also the Celcius to Farenheit difference makes a difference as well. /

RIP Mr Iacocca. I’ve owned Mustangs, and K-Cars. Each had their ups and downs. The Chrysler/Dodge/Plymouth minivans were huge part of my childhood. They were everywhere. And you could get them with a 5 speed. They would build just about anything you wanted. Amazing.
