Knowing this, Mercedes-Benz doesn't market this vehicle as a station wagon. In fact, I headed over to the Mercedes-Benz website to find out exactly what they call this vehicle, and it turns out the name is sports activity tourer. Or possibly touring sports crossover. Or maybe coupe touring sportster. Or crosstouring

I think you mean uneffably cool. As in if you had these cars you would be cool at your local C&C but ultimately seen as un-effable by women.

yes, this is a fair fight. Light weight RWD sports car vs. large AWD truck. This supra could have 1000hp and it wouldn't budge the G. MAYBE it could do something with some nice hot slicks. But I'm fairly sure it would still struggle to hook up before the G moved.

hahaha I love this! My 911 gets lots of attention from these boy racer types (have someone challenge me nearly every time I dive it) and I will admit it pisses me off greatly. Mainly because most of them seem to expect any car they pull up to to be stock, even though theirs is not. and exactly none of them expect to

you must not know much of mercedes history. I advise you to google Mercedes 190E 2.3 or 190D. They were the original cheap Mercedes, and did it way better than the CLA. You could get one with cloth seats and crank windows, but still had all the lovely 80's mercedes build quality. I actually had 2 190's and they

I would almost never buy new. There are some cases for it, like my dad who buys a new diesel truck every 2-3 years. But he drives 50-75k miles a year often pulling trailers and wants the added security of a warranty if something were to go wrong. Or my mom who bought a Q5 TDI last fall. There were none on the used

I got M5. I've owned both an M5 and an RS6. This is pretty good.

For those of you who scrolled down to the bottom looking for one final number, here it is: $8,500 in depreciation plus $4,629.81 in maintenance repairs for a grand total of $13,129.81. In other words: I paid about $1,100 per month to drive this car, or $39.90 per day, or $2.61 per mile.

Bullrun season 4 needs to happen!

ho lee fuk. I need to learn that trick!

the PP might be "entry level" (now) non-racing seat, but it's a damn fine seat none the less!

I had a b6 and loved it. Miles ahead of the POS B5 I had, and while it didn't have the road feel of an E46 it was still a faster (and more enjoyable) car to live with on a daily basis. That said I've often though of buying an E46 to use as a DD, but I wouldn't buy another B6. A B7 RS4 on the other hand would work

cool! thanks for the info! I'm actually really excited about a build that doesn't involve chasing horses. Your car is beyond perfect and immensely inspirational to aspiring Porsche-philes like me! Keep up the good work! I've started on mine with RS door panels, fiberglass ducktail, and of course a Prototipo! Currently

what is your reasoning behind sticking with stock 993 engine? Is 270hp all that you feel the chasis can handle? The reason I'm asking is that I just bought a '78 project car with an 85 3.2 in it. It pulls strong, so I'm leaving it alone for now & I'm planning a build definitely heavily inspired by what you've done.

CLK63 Black, Audi R8, or Aston V8 Vantage. I'm selling my 911 to concentrate on my outlaw build, but I'll be ready for one of these in a year so I'll buy it off of you. Aston & R8 would both need to be a stick shift. The Mercedes would need to not be black.

just bought a 78 with an 85 3.2 swapped in. I paid low 20's for a bit of a project, but it fit my wish list for a backdate outlaw project perfectly.

yes it's intriguing. But you could build a lot of intriguing 1 off cars for 100k that wouldn't look like a moderately hopped up 335. This thing would probably be worth 100k if it had a liberty walk body kit..

hundred thousand for this or 30,000 for an M5 with a stick shift
