@solidfever: Thanks! I googled "gwyneth paltrow elitist" (lol I hope no-one will view my search history) and found this: [jezebel.com]

@SkaHimself: Prop 8 is a great example of why the majority should never vote on a minority's rights. Democracy is NOT about a tyranny of the majority.

@katieupsidedown: Wow, what kind of a guy would get a kick out of hurting his girlfriend and making her bleed... (consensual BDSM relationships aside)

@nobodyr: Yep. Paying 300k for probably bad and awkward sex sounds plain stupid.

Hey, can someone elaborate why we are supposed to hate her? I think I've missed something.

@Bronteseviltwin: Adoption is not that simple. How do you know they would even qualify? I'm under the impression that adoption agencies are quite picky. Also, there are other hardships and questions that come with international adoptions, like the child's possible early childhood traumas and illnesses, the rights of

I'm not saying I agree with her choices, but being snarky about her reproductive choices and comparing her children to dogs makes me really uneasy. I wonder if these people think that also middle-aged or disabled women, or other women with high-risk pregnancies, are "child abusers" if they insist on having children.

@laserqueen: Total fertility rates have dropped in other Far Eastern countries as well, despite them not having totalitarian family politics*. It's due to a bigger societal change (urbanisation, women's education etc). Probably the same would have happened in China even if they didn't have one-child policies.

@kansasgirl: You post was very insightful. Hearted.

She has one in purple, too!

@hfree: Yeah, there's a new Moomin movie! And Björk made the music for it! This is just too awesome to be real.

@addictedtopez: I got ogled more when I was a teenager. Now that I'm grown up, I'm obviously no longer that interesting. Ew.

@aitzko: Yikes. I believe ya. Btw, I was not a planned child, but we still had a fairly normal family life. So maybe it's not all about the planning...

@AraRichards: Yes, I was going to add that I basically think less of the human kind because we (almost) all participate, directly or indirectly, to outrageous animal right violations. But bullfighting seems unusually vicious to me.

@AraRichards: I generally think less of countries that violate animal rights blatantly, so it's not only Spain. This post was about Spain, that's why I didn't mention other countries.

@Kaiser-Machead v.2.1.1: Agreed. When it comes to something as complex as parenting sexual orientation looks trivial to me. That's kinda what I thought you were implying. Just being cheeky. :)

Good! Bullfighting makes me think a bit low of Spain that is otherwise a great country.
