I'm loving Dante's Inferno, Crecente's take on the game made me pull the trigger on Tuesday after some initial hesitation when reviews started hitting. Sure it's a gameplay retread but I'm loving the atmosphere.
You think with all that money they could fix up [IW.net] matchmaking. Just trying to get in a "Ground wars" game with a party of 2 is a 10 minute trial and error.
Now this begs the question, will I get a PS3/God of war bundle? Bought the PS2 back when God of War 1 came out and basked in the glory of greatest hits titles 2 for $30 at Target for years.
I can totally see me buying Beautiful Katamari after a night at the bar if it comes in at $19.99. Even though that's very wishful thinking I'm guessing.
@Desmondia: They did BF for the last day of that "31?" days of savings on xbox live I thought. I could be wrong though since I bought on the buggy release day in the summer.
@Pornosaur: Guess I should have read the article. I like where there going with that 5 minute grace period.
@Paolo Gerard V. Carbonell: Hell I've quit games I've been winning do to a lagging gamer with a 3rd world broadband connection. What really needs to happen is prevention of me even connecting to you. And Fifa's 4 lag bars seem to rarely do the trick for the real amount of lag I'm going to get.
@c4pt_chunk: I actually think this is referring to the new one. The other one got patched some time ago, back when they did Human Javelin Bomb I believe.
Pull out your "Stinger" and put on your cold blooded :P I'm still enjoying the game, but it's a shame with these glitches and the shoddy matchmaking. Maybe a beta would have been good.
@Knoxximus Hiryu: Um, wasn't that exactly the point of your post?
@Selma Blair: I may or may not be in the beta. But if I was I'd say it's like playing video games but having a bad video "codec". If that makes sense.
This game from every vid and screenshot I've seen is full of awesome. That being said all of those screenshots and vids have to be running on a decked out computer right? 360 can do this? Either way I'm buying.
If your posting here on your own computer and complaining you can't read the text, I suggest the xbox 360 VGA cable.
@ClaudioIphigenia: always open to suggestions
@Torgen got 99 problems but the PAXFlu ain't one: I think even the most diehard 360 fan knows the craptacular hardware fail rate is one of the worst of all time. It's still at the moment my fav console ever with everything else it offers when the disc drive isn't dying on my 4th one now. But I guess when you grow up…
Hmmm never heard of a Wii dying, but then again, and I'm sad to beat a dead horse, mine hasn't been turned on since a couple months after Smash Bros. New Mario Bros looks interesting but I mostly single play so I've been too lazy to pick it up.
@Anunnaki: I got it from buying concert tickets for a local venue, it was basically taking your info from the previous transaction and porting it over I never had to input any info again. It said save $2 by clicking here. I'm fairly internet savy, hell I had AOL and a 36k modem, and it got me so I'm sure it's not…
@Pornosaur: Damn enter button, this one I fully support though. Got charged by "Shopper's discount" for about 2 years before I even paid attention to the CC bill.
The New York State Attorney General, their motto "We sue anyone, anytime, anywhere!" Is there a more prolific prosecutor at any level of government? Shame they couldn't keep an eye on Wall St.
