I'm not taking sides but it's a bit more than just brand loyalty, at least it was in the 80s and 90s. Completely different operating systems.

It wasn't ephemeral it was on every show. But keep complaining about someone else's writing….

I read about the ban years ago and recently read a bit more in depth info about how they were basically the Replacements of their era (drunken brawls on stage). Which barely reconciles with their song writing sensibilities. I'm sure it had a big part in limiting their commercial prospects here. But after growing up

Yeah they were never as popular as they should have been in America. They had two big hits "you really got me" and "Lola" but they released tons of great stuff in between. All of the albums listed below are worth getting.

I don't get it

I think you're looking for the drudge report

I don't have any stats but it sounds anecdotal to me. Also, merlot is used in a lot of wine not called "merlot." The cheval blanc he enjoys in a fast food joint is actually primarily merlot

Because it's garbage masquerading as good beer

I'll respect your wishes on the tv shows but I had to double check for myself and came across different stuff. The only thing I'll mention is the "Lisa Loeb Eyewear Collection."

Also they were about the more memorable aspects of the 90s, not Coolio.

This must have been really easy to schedule. "yeah, pretty much everyone we invited wants to do it and is free for the entire summer. Just pick a day."

May be not worse but similar. The Cars with Todd Rundgren.

don't underestimate how bad it was in the 90s as well.

You obviously missed the increasingly embarrassing string of reality series she endured.

I don't think hipster douchebags are too into Blind Melon.

Um you do realize that its 2015. Subtract 10 and you're still 5 years off the end of the 90s

I was surprised by the amount as well but he isn't talking about how much cash he has, just his assets (including real estate holdings) and his liabilities (i.e. Debt) exceeded his assets by about a half a billion. Regardless he's doing fine and isn't struggling for money. His poor business decisions that hurt him in

Yeah Miles Davis was not pleased with that, at least according to his very angry semi-autobiography. Onette also released at least a whole album on Tenor.

What about Ornette Coleman?

What about Ornette?
