I read in an interview somewhere that David Schwimmer was always trying to talk the producers of Friends into hiring PoC for extra parts or the love interest roles. It’s why all of the (very few) PoC guest stars have story arcs with Ross!

Why should you? Because I made a series of comments on the same topic, and while in a few of them, probably bc I was cut pasting because I was in the greys and people kept saying the same thing - I neglected to mention “woc” and I admitted that that was probably subconscious.
