Probably more likely than people fleeing the country. But I’m sure there has to be one or two of those as well.

Well, you see, the owners held their thumbs over the license plates while taking pictures, so they are 100% untraceable.
Yeah, this. :(
Thinking about the circumstances that led to these abandoned cars is quite sad. Could be the owners traveled alone and died at their destination with no next of kin to be found.
Just to play devil’s advocate for a moment – is it possible that the Prius hasn’t changed, but rather what you want from a car has? I’m agnostic about the Prius and have found it an eminently useful tool on past borrowed drives, but my understanding is that none of the faults of the Prius from an enthusiast…
Honestly, the knob is fine here. A column shift would have had nostalgia value, but you just spin that little knob all the way to the right when you go, to the left when you stop, and that’s it. It’s easy and simple.
So it’s Taco for you? Or is nobody actually going to get your money?
Is it true that none of the trims have rear window defrost?
I enjoyed this sentence.
Yes. Similar to how Majora's Mask and Link's Awakening can't be considered true Zelda games!
Well obviously they had to take it down because we all know it should have been the other way around.
4th Gear: That lawsuit should have been thrown out. “Cruise control” has been a common automotive term for more than 50 years and still describes what these systems do.
1st Gear: Now I’m imagining a situation where AB Volvo (the truck maker) decides that it needs to diversify into the consumer market and ends up buying a stake in Volvo cars... completing the circle of ownership.
Great article, more in depth stuff like this please.
They shouldn’t be on the sidewalks either. Cars aren’t expecting 25 mph things coming across a sidewalk crossing. You can check your mirror for a turn and by the time you look back to the road ahead a bike could exist. Not to mention the speed differential between bikes and walkers is too great. Bikes really need…
Bikes absolutely should not be on the sidewalk. Bikes behave like vehicles, not pedestrians. You want cyclists to be visible and predictable, and having them launch out of sidewalks into the crosswalk when you’re making a right turn is neither visible nor predictable.
No, bikes should not be on sidewalks. My grandmother was hit by a biker on the sidewalk on her way to church. She hit her head and hemorrhaged. There was a big blood stain on the sidewalk outside of that church for years. She lost significant mobility and was never the same. So, no, unless you’re a child, keep your…
It’s Raph, nothing conveys very well
5th Gear: After reading the linked article here’s how it breaks down. There are less bike lanes in black neighborhoods. Black residents fearing being hit by a car use the sidewalk. Black neighborhoods are also often high crime rates. Chicago police have stricter enforcement of traffic laws in high crime areas. Police…
2nd Gear, that was a stupid take; In any case, if Michigan is really upset, it should do whatever the state version of nationalizing is. Send in state troopers to the HQ. If it is meant to operate for the good of the people of Michigan, let the people of Michigan take control.
